You can export your precedent whenever you like, whether you have resolved every change or not. Each export uses your latest work.
This article covers:
Exporting your precedent
Taking your precedent further in Avvoka
1. Exporting your precedent
Click Export in the top bar.
Enter a Template name for your precedent, for example “NDA – curated”.
Click Export.
Curate saves your latest changes and downloads the precedent as a Word document. It follows your master document’s formatting, with your placeholders and optional wording shown in square brackets.
If you export before resolving every change, each open change keeps all its versions in square brackets, labelled by source document. For example: [v1: 30 days / v2: 60 days / v3: (missing)].
(missing) means that document doesn’t include the wording.
If a whole paragraph or table differs, each version appears in full under its own label, such as [v1] and [v2].
v1 is always your master document, and the other numbers match the sources in Redline view.

You can keep working on the curation and export again at any time.
2. Taking your precedent further in Avvoka
If your organisation uses Avvoka to automate documents and you have Build rights, each export is also saved as a template in Avvoka, under the name you gave it.
From there, you can continue to build it into an automated template: style the questionnaire, refine placeholders and conditions, and publish it for drafting.
