Creating a curation takes a few clicks. Curate then works in the background, so you can close the page and come back when it is ready.

Managing your curations
1. Uploading your documents
On the Curations page, click Start a new curation.
Drag your documents into the upload area, or click browse files and select them.
The Start a curation screen, with the upload area for your documents.
You can add between 2 and 20 Word (.docx) documents. Each file needs a different file name.
2. Picking a master
Once your documents are added, Curate lists them on the Pick a master screen. Each one shows its size and is marked Uploaded when it is ready.
Click Set as master on the document you want as your master. The first document you added is selected to start with.
To add more documents, click + Add more documents. To take one out, click the × next to it.
When the screen shows all documents uploaded, click Curate.
The Pick a master screen, with one document set as the master.
3. While Curate works
Curate shows its progress as it prepares your documents, aligns their clauses, finds the differences and drafts its suggestions. You don’t need to wait on this screen. Curate emails you as soon as your precedent is ready for review, and the screen shows which address it will use.
To start another curation while you wait, click Back to curations.
To stop this curation, click Cancel curation and confirm. This removes the uploaded documents and can’t be undone.

If Curate can’t finish, the screen says so. Click Try again to run the same documents again, or Back to documents to change the set first. Your uploaded documents are kept. If it still doesn’t work, click Contact support.
4. Managing your curations
The Curations page lists your curations, showing each one’s number of documents, progress and status.
Use the All, In review and Done tabs, or Search curations, to find the one you need.
Progress shows how many changes you have resolved, for example, 12 of 40 resolved. A curation is marked Done once every change is resolved.
Click Reopen to carry on reviewing a curation. You can also delete a curation if you no longer need it; deleting can’t be undone.
