Steps:
Access Envelope Setup:
Go to the "Envelope setup" tab within your MassDraft deal.
Set Envelope Batch Name:
Enter a name that will appear for these envelopes in MassDraft.
3. Enable/Disable Sign in Counterparts:
If toggled No, each row in your dataset will create a separate envelope.
If toggled Yes, you can group documents into different envelopes based on recipient type.
4. Customise Email Subject & Body:
Enter a subject line and email body for the Docusign email. You can use automation to personalise messages.
5. Mark Envelopes as Drafts (Optional):
Enable this option if you want to review envelopes in Docusign before sending them to recipients. You can send them later via MassDraft’s dashboard.
6. Attach Additional Documents:
Upload any supporting documents that should be included in every envelope (e.g., policy documents, instructions).
2. Configuring Signing in Counterparts
If signing in counterparts is enabled, follow these additional steps:
Drag and drop signatories into groups based on how you want envelopes to be created.
Choose a grouping rule:
One envelope per unique recipient email in group – Each recipient gets their own envelope.
One envelope for all recipients in a group – Multiple recipients share a single envelope.
One envelope per datasheet row, per group – Envelopes are created per row but follow group assignment.
Worked example:
Group 1: Employee, with “one envelope per unique recipient in email group”. For 50 employees, 50 separate envelopes will be created.
Group 2: Manager 1 and Manager 2, with “one envelope per unique recipient email in group”. One single envelope will be created, containing all documents.
3. Reviewing Envelopes Before Sending
Navigate to the Envelopes tab to view all configured envelopes.
