Understanding Deal Access in MassDraft

MassDraft allows users to grant access to other team members or groups, ensuring the right people can view, edit, and manage deals collaboratively.

Granting Access to Users

To add a user to a deal:

  1. Navigate to the 'Deal Access' section

  2. Click on "Users"

  3. Choose your colleagues from the list (Note: You will only see users who share a group with you)

  4. Click "Save" to confirm

Granting Access to Groups

For streamlined collaboration, you can provide access to an entire user group:

  1. Click on "Groups"

  2. Choose the relevant group (Note: You can only select groups you are an admin of)

  3. Click "Save"

Managing Access

  • To add more users, repeat the above steps.

  • To remove a user or group, go to the access section, deselect them, and save changes.

Best Practices for Collaborative Work in MassDraft

  • Keep groups organised: Use groups to streamline access management.

  • Regularly update access: Remove users who no longer need access to maintain security.

By following these steps, you can ensure smooth collaboration on deals in MassDraft, keeping your documents and workflows organised while maintaining control over access permissions.
