Sometimes you need to trigger a workflow on a certain questionnaire answer or combination of questionnaire answers. This might be when Value > 100,000, for example. However, what do you do when you don't want that workflow to be triggered until the document is signed? This article explains how to create a joint trigger for questionnaire answers and document states.
Method One: From the Document State Trigger
If you have already selected a document state as a trigger, simply toggle the 'only activate if a specific condition is met in the questionnaire' option from below the drop-down of triggers.
A condition builder will then appear, where you can build your required conditions.
Method Two: From the Questionnaire Item Trigger
If you've already built your necessary condition, simply re-select the dropdown and choose which document state trigger you'd like to combine with the condition.
