Massdraft integrates directly with Docusign, making it easy to send documents for e-signature without leaving the platform. Once connected, you can trigger execution at the right stage—no manual downloads or extra uploads needed.
What You Can Configure
There are two ways to set up Docusign with Massdraft. Choose the model that fits how your team works:
Central Docusign Account (Single Sender Model)
All signatures are handled through one shared Docusign account (e.g. legal@company.com).
Good for:
Legal ops teams or centralised services
Consistent audit trails
Simple user management
How it works:
One integration key and token are used across the team.
Tokens are managed either by your internal admin or securely by Avvoka on your behalf.
Per-User Docusign Accounts (Distributed Sender Model)
Each user links their own Docusign account before sending a document.
Good for:
Decentralised teams or law firms
Keeping individual Docusign histories
How it works:
Users authenticate with OAuth when sending.
Each sender manages their own Docusign connection and permissions.
How to Enable Docusign in Massdraft
You can enable either model from Organisation Settings (admin access required), or we can assist during onboarding. If you're unsure, reach out—we’ll help recommend the best setup for your team.
Signature Setup Tips
Add e-signature placeholders to templates to define who signs, and in what order.
Trigger sending to Docusign when documents reach a set status, such as Execution Ready.
Once signed, the document automatically updates to Executed within Massdraft.
Not Sure Which Model to Choose?
Ask yourself:
Do you want all documents sent from one Docusign account, or should users send from their own?
Massdraft supports both workflows.
