AI Condition Builder

Updated over 2 weeks ago

The AI condition builder is designed to translate plain English prompts into conditional logic statements. You can read more about Avvoka conditions here.

Instead of requiring users to manually construct complex logic, this feature allows them to describe the rule they want in natural language, and the assistant automatically generates the corresponding condition.

How to Apply AI-Generated Conditions to Template Text:

1. Select the Target Text
Highlight an entire paragraph or text within a paragraph based on which type of condition you want to apply (Block for entire paragraphs, inline condition for text within a paragraph).

2. Choose the Condition Type
Click on the appropriate button—Inline Condition or Block Condition—based on how you want the logic to be applied. Then, select “Generate with AI.”

3. Enter a Natural Language Prompt
In the AI prompt field, describe the condition you want using plain English. Click on “Generate Condition” to let the AI interpret your request and return a structured condition.

4. Review and Apply
Once the condition is generated, you can review and make edits if needed. When satisfied, click “Apply.” The condition will now be attached to the selected text.

You’ll now see the condition visibly applied to the template, ready for use.

5. Amend an existing condition

You can also use the AI condition builder to amend an existing condition (created with AI or manually). Simply type the prompt and click "Ask AI to amend".
