Template Packs let users bundle multiple templates together, generating all necessary documents from a single, consolidated questionnaire instead of answering multiple forms separately. Documents can be generated conditionally based on user inputs (e.g: different documents depending of the Jurisdiction), ensuring only relevant files are created.

Users can choose to download documents instantly or review them in the "Drive" page. This feature streamlines workflows, reduces manual effort, and ensures accuracy, making document creation faster and more efficient.

If you want to know how to automate a Template Pack (in the "Template" area), you can refer to this article.

Launching a Template Pack

Navigate to the “Create” tab and then access the ‘Template packs’ option on the sidebar, click on the relevant pack to launch it.

After your pack launches a single questionnaire will load. You can use the search bar in the top right corner of the questionnaire to quickly find specific questions or answers.

Avvoka will automatically apply your answers across all documents.

If your pack is in "performance mode", the live preview will not load automatically. You will see a button to "Update Preview" to load your responses on the right side, click "Update Preview" and navigate through the documents in your pack using the arrows after the answers finish to load.

After you answer the pack questionnaire and click "Done" all the documents you need will be generated (considering the conditionality that you may have set for certain documents). A window will open showing you the progress of the process, timelines may vary depending on pack size and complexity.

Once the documents generate a new window will open showing a summary of all the documents generated.

Downloading your Pack Documents

You can easily download the entire pack as a zip folder by pressing the "Download" button in the window that opens after they generate.

You can also view the pack documents you have generated, or been added to in the Drive dashboard. In here you will be able to organise them in folders, add labels, download them, duplicate them, export them to iManage Work, share them, review them, revisit the questionnaire or delete them using the pack object (as explained in more detail below).

After generation of the pack, you can open any of the pack documents and view all the rest of them through the "Related documents" tab. This will include any documents generated in the pack or via workflows from any of the pack documents.

From any of the generated documents, you can always download the entire pack by choosing "All related", and the whole pack will download in a zipped file.

Accessing generated Pack Documents from Drive

Users will find their generated packs in the Drive main dashboard. In there, they will see a "pack object", which they can:

  • Expand/collapse Document Packs to view all documents

  • Select it to Move the whole Pack to a folder

  • Apply labels to the entire Pack

  • Access the Questionnaire via the “Questionnaire” button in the Actions column.

Next to the Document pack object they will find a 3 dot menu that will allow them to do different "pack based" actions:

  • Duplicate pack

  • Export to iManage Work (if integration is enabled)

  • Delete pack

  • Send reminder email

  • Download (all pack Documents or download an excel file with the pack questionnaire and the answers)

To rename a pack, open the pack details by clicking the white space near the pack name. This will open a sidebar on the right-hand side, where you can view pack information, including the title. Update the name, then click "Save" to confirm the changes.

Finally, users will have access to a "Document Packs" in the sidebar of "Drive" where they will be able to easily access all the packs they have created and the document within each pack.

Sharing all Pack Documents with another user

Users might want to share all the pack documents with another user and add them as collaborators to the pack, they can do this after they have generated the pack by opening any of the pack documents and clicking the "Parties" tab in the sidebar.

Then, select “Manage Users” and enter the user’s email address. A modal will appear with the option to apply the changes to all documents—click “Yes, all documents” to add the user across the entire pack.
