Configure the application on Microsoft Azure

1. Log into https://portal.azure.com as an administrator for your organisation.

2. Navigate to “Azure Active Directory”.

3. Navigate to “App registrations” and click “New registration”.

4. Fill in the following details:

Choose the option which best suits your company’s needs.

Redirect URI (select “Web”)

https://{your-avvoka-url}/integrations/sharepoint/authorization/callback

Please get your Avvoka URL from your Avvoka contact.

5. Click “Register”.

6. Navigate to “Certificates & secrets”, then “Client secrets”, and click “New client secret”.

7. Add a description (e.g. “Avvoka SharePoint Integration Secret”) and set the expiry duration of the secret. NB: Once the secret expires, it will need to be refreshed on Avvoka as well.

8. Click “Add”.

9. Note down the “Value” for the secret you have just created. Client secret values can only be viewed immediately after creation. Be sure to save the secret when created before leaving the page.

10. Navigate to “Overview” and note down these values:

a. Display name

b. Application (client) ID

c. Directory (tenant) ID

Configure the integration on Avvoka

1. Log into Avvoka as an Organisation Support user.

2. Navigate to “SUPPORT”, then “Organisations” and select your organisation.

3. Navigate to “SharePoint settings” and provide the information as below (you will get this information form the step above, from your Microsoft Azure app>> App Registrations>>Owned Applications>>Avvoka Sharepoint Integration>>Overview), then tick “Enable integration for all members of this organisation”. Then click “Save”.

Authenticate individual accounts on Avvoka

1. Navigate to your user settings

2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Authorise” under “Sharepoint Settings”

3. Sign into your Microsoft account.
