Navigating your Console

Why?

Opening your console when you encounter a bug or issue on Avvoka will help us to diagnose and troubleshoot the issue you are experiencing based on what appears in the console.

Example view of the console: After you have opened the console, it will be displayed on the side of the page and if there are any issues or errors they will appear here.

How?

Depending on the browser that you use, you can find the respective steps here.

Chrome:

In Google Chrome you can open the console by navigating to View > Developer Tools > JavaScript Console.

This will then open on the side of the page and if there are any issues or errors they will appear here.

You can also use the shortcut on your keyboard:

Windows: Ctrl + Shift + i

Mac: Option + Command + J

Firefox:

In Firefox you can navigate to Tools > Web Developer > Browser Console. Similarly to Google Chrome, if there are any Javascript errors these will appear on the side of the page.
